IMAJINE Special Session at the International Conference of the Romanian Regional Science Association

On July 6, 2019, the joint International Conference of the Romanian Regional Science Association and the French-Speaking Association of Regional Science held at the “Al.I.Cuza” University took place.

The special session entitled IMAJINE – “Integrative Mechanisms for Addressing Spatial Justice and Territorial Inequalities in Europe”, was organised and 6 papers have been presented by members of the ASE – IMAJINE team as well as by other academics, researchers and PhD students who shared their interest in territorial inequalities related topics, from both methodological and empirical perspectives.

A special emphasis was placed on the analysis of territorial inequalities at deeper levels of spatial disaggregation, in accordance with the IMAJINE project objectives. In particular, Romanian IMAJINE partners presented the results within the Work Package 2 – Analysis of Territorial Inequalities: a critical review of studies analyzing territorial inequalities at deeper disaggregation levels in Central and East European countries and analysis of territorial inequalities in Romania – NUTS3.
